Editorial process
How we work
We would rather show you how these pages are made than ask you to take them on trust.
Where the facts come from
We start from primary sources — statutes, agency guidance, company filings and official statistics — not from other explainers.
How articles are produced
Drafts are prepared with editorial tools and reviewed before publication. Every guide carries the date it was last checked.
When we get it wrong
If something is incorrect, email hello@ykayak.com. We correct the page and note the change.
What we don't do
We don't accept payment to feature or rank any company, product or platform, and we don't give personal advice.
How the calculators work
The four tools on WorldSpotter are educational estimators. They use simple arithmetic on the numbers you enter, with transparent assumptions stated on each tool page. Nothing is saved or sent to us. Results are illustrative only and are not financial, legal or professional advice.
